Study of Academic Achievement

This book is product of an extensive research done on academic achievement in relation to achievement motivation and home environment. One of the main concerns of the educators has been how to maximize the achievement of the adolescents with the recognition to individual differences in ability. In order to lead towards maximum output on the part of adolescents there is a dire need of motivation. Motivation is the dynamic force that energies all human behaviour. An Achievement oriented person is one who tries to improve the conditions of life for himself. Home and school environment, share an influential space in child’s life. Home is the social biological unit that exerts the greatest influence on the development and perpetuation of the individual’s behaviour.
